Good Day Checkers/County Fair
Yesterday after work I followed my normal routine and did some grocery shopping at Checkers Canal walk.
At the chicken isle I bought my families beloved County fair Chicken.
I grabbed about 8 different packs of County fair chicken and continued with my shopping.
The shop was busy and I still had to get home as I worked the Sunday till 14:00 and had to get to my family.
While driving I get this horrible smell like something died in my car... it was disgusting.
When I got home I told my hubby and asked him to inspect everything before I drop it in the freezer.
We found the attached pack of Thighs as and it smelled horrible and I saw the sell by date was the 23.10.2013 and yesterday was the 27.10.2013 as per my receipt.
Why was this on the shelf?
Do you want to poison my family to make a buck?
Does you butchery staff not check produce?
The pack says Fresh Thighs REALYYY???
I am utterly disgusted and disappointed by Checkers/County fair and will never by my chicken from that store and never every trust County fair.
