Firstly on entering the clear water store, I back tracked to make sure I never just stepped into Martin's funeral parlour - A smile and some friendly assistance never killed anyone yet! But luckily I knew what i wanted and went ahead with my purchase of almost R30, 000 and then I get told I must pay a R450 delivery charge - In my opinion for the price we pay, this should be included, but I pay it. A day before delivery I get a sms to say that I must call for a estimated time of delivery and this can vary by 2 hours but told to please be home between 3 & 5. My wife rushes to be home at 14h50 only to discover that my couches were dumped in my driveway baking in the sun and my neighbours builder was asked to sign for them! If this is what R450 gets me then I can imagine that they would be on the pavement if it were free delivery. And to top it off the leather couch colour is different to the one chosen with the salesperson?? I call the warehouse/delivery manager who apologises and after me telling him this is not sufficient he PROMISES to get back to me... An entire week later & I am still waiting for his weak excuses and a response. Why should I pay for a job not done? Pathetic!
