DUE TO LOSING MY WALLET ON SATURDAY, MY MR PRICE ACCOUNT CARD WAS LOST AS WELL.
I ONLY DETECTED IT BEING LOST ON SUNDAY NOON, AND IMMEDIATELY VISITED MY NEAREST MR PRICE STORE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS TO BLOCK THE CARD, WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO FULFIL THIS FUNCTION IN STORE AND THAT I NEED TO CONTACT THEIR HEAD OFFICES.
THIS I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH, BUT THE MERE FACT THAT THEY TOLD ME IN STORE THAT I CAN ONLY CONTACT THEIR HEAD OFFICES DURING MONDAY-FRIDAY: OFFICE HOURS.
I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE LOSS OF MY WALLET, BUT THE MERE FACT THAT SOMEWHERE OUT THERE SOMEONE HAS PICKED MY WALLET, AND MAY BE ABLE TO USE AND/OR MAX OUT MY MR PRICE ACCOUNT. AND WHEN ASKED WHAT DO I DO IF SOMEONE USED MY CARD WITHIN THIS TIME, THE CASHIER SIMPLY SAID: "I DON'T KNOW MA'M".
WHAT MAKES ME EVEN MORE FRUSTRATED IS THAT OTHER STORES I HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH HAD NOT HAD THE PROBLEM OF BLOCKING MY CARD AS SOON AS I REPORTED IT MISSING (WHY COULDN'T MR PRICE DO IT?), AND ONE IN PARTICULAR EVEN GAVE ME ANOTHER CARD UPON MY REPORT. NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL EXCELLENT SERVICE.
I AM SURELY CONSIDERING PAYING OFF MY BALANCE AND CLOSING MY MR PRICE ACCOUNT!
