NEVER TRUST AMERICAN SWISS WITH REPAIRS. I had the misfortune of sending in an irreplaceable gift (a watch) to repair a cracked face in November of 2012After which the responsibility fell completely on my shoulders to contact them regarding the repair, which I did, only to be met with fruitless comments like "I don't know" or "I will follow up and get back to you"
On the 20th of April I was finally contacted (6 MONTHS LATER) not to inform me that my watch had been repaired but rather that THEY HAD LOST IT.
Infuriated they try to console me by telling me it will be replaced, so according to American Swiss a company that sells "personal style" and to some extent "memories" they see their products as nothing more than trinkets.
I am disgusted with this brand and will never support them again, but hey I guess they can just replace customers as well
