I walked into Edgars this afternoon to buy some pants, when I get to the till Yandiswa tells me I cannot make a purchase using both gift card and my account, to this I reply that I can as I and my mother have done this before both at CNA and Boardmans, within the last 2 months.
She responds to tell me she cannot help me and I must go to customer services, which at the time had this massive queue. So I literally just threw the clothes and walked out, why the must I go through all this hassle after standing on 1 queue and then having to go to another one simply because a staff member is too stupid to do her job?
How does a company stay in business when their staff actively refuse to sell merchandise?
Either she is seriously incompetent, for which she either needs to be terminated or re-trained, or she is seriously lazy and dishonest, for which she should be retrained and returned to he mother to be re-brought u.
