I recently opened an account with Edgars a week ago. I made 2 purchases with my card. A week later I went to make another purchase but when I got to the till, I found out my card has been block! They then sent me to customer services.
Went to customer services (I stood for 30 mins!! there were only 2 people working the computers on a Sunday!) - then I was been told that I need to stand in another queue! (highly frustrated)
Apparently my card is blocked because I made 2 purchases which is considered as "". Edgars claims to have called me but I didn't receive any call nor any voicemails! So of course I did not have my ID book to unblock my account as I did not even know about this. I was simply turned away by staff and told to come back later. Staff was highly inefficient and couldn't careless to help me.
This is not the first time. When I opened my account, there were also issues!
I will now be closing my account! this is not worth my time and MONEY! I will go somewhere else to shop.
