Worst Customer experience eve

I applied for a Woolworth credit card, they told me they will call me when my card is ready. 3 weeks later I went to the store and just ask if the card is ready, they said its still being processed (that was in 2013) Now today 18/01/2014 more than a month later I went back, and was told the application was decline due to assessment. I asked what does that mean and why has it been declined, they told me they don't know!! Then I asked why wasn't I informed and what can I do to correct it? Once again they told me they don't know!!!

I will not return to that store again
