This Saturday my sister and I visited the Foschini Store at Mall@Reds. My sister who waled in 10 minutes before me had asked a lady for a certain piece of jewelry she saw in one of the lass cabinets.
The lady then told her she'd be with her now; 10 minutes later I walked into the store and my sister was still waiting around. The store was not busy at all. We then asked if anyone was going to help us and eventually the same person (reluctantly) helped us.
She then mentioned that she could only give this to us in a plastic bag (similar to a bank packet).
Firstly: this was to be a birthday gift for one of her friends and wanted a gift box.
Secondly: It's terribly unhygienic to even transport such item (a belly ring) in that type of plastic bag.
I had accepted the above mentioned issues and were then willing to proceed and pay for it.
The lady then asks us "there's nothing she can do" and "take it or leave it". This was the turning point.
Never in my life have I met a person as rude as she is. She spoke to us as if she was doing us a favour. She has a terrible attitude.
I then asked for her name, reluctantly she told me her name was Maureen when I asked the second time.
