On Saturday we went into Edgar's in centurion mall to buy some stuff. I needed a jeans so I asked my wife to hold the pair I found to my waist for measurement. We had our 1 year old with us. My wife's handbag was abit heavy due to some of our sons stuff in it so she put it in the compartment below the pram so that she could measure the jeans to my waist. When we turned back, the handbag was gone (literally a minute or two later). We asked the department manager to check on the security cameras to see if the had left, his response was that we have a moving camera but he will call control room to check. We were at the jeans section for atleast 10 minutes till I found the jeans I like, but the moving camera never even saw us there once. The only response from the manager was that this had happen atleast 10 times in the last month. I would have assume such a big store would have increased security if it happens so frequently.
