Why Offer Warranty

On the 3rd of December 2013 my TV for some reason blew, so I took it back to Hi-Fi Corp where I bought it on the morning of the 4th as the TV was still under warranty. Once the TV was booked in I was told they will contact me in 5 days with what's wrong and whether they going to repair or replace the TV. Needless to say 8 working days passed and I had still heard nothing. When I called to find out what's going on, they didn't even have an answer and just said they will call back. 2 days later I got a call saying that they have ordered the part and will fix the TV, and I will have it back before the New Year. Today is the 3rd of January 2014 and I still haven't got my TV back. I called yesterday and was told they will call me back (same response as always).

To be honest I'm fed up with pathetic service and to be honest will never buy any product from Hi-Fi Corp if this is how poor the after sales service is. It's been 19 Working days and I actually wonder if I'll ever get the TV back.
