On Thursday, 02 January 2014 I went to Truworths store in Church Street to pay my mother's account and decided to check if I have outstanding balance on my account. I got shocked to discover that someone has used my account on 23 and 24 December 2013 yet again.
In 2006 the same thing happened but then it was because I have lost my ID and got hold of it and were able to have access to my account. Then, my account was cleared and whenever I made purchase I would be asked security questions. After two years I requested that my account be unlocked as at times it was frustrating to wait for almost an hour in a store or even worse when the system was offline I could not make a purchase. It has been seven years now and I cannot believe that this is happening again. According to my perception I thought that precautions were taken, an alert on the system stating clearly that no one is allowed to make a purchase using an ID that was issued in 2005. It was also confusing that on the system my cellphone numbers were changed so that I don't get any notifications but to my amusement on the 30th of December 2013 I got a sale invite.
