My phone went missing in Spitz in Eloff street on the 18th of Dec and I suspect that it could be the security guard. I went back to the store on the 20th to ask if it was possible if I look at the camera footage and was told they dont allow customers to look at footage. And that the footage needs to be requested from Head office. My details were then taken and what was more weird is that after 30 min the manager gives me a call and by some really weird coincidence an IT guy walked in and the looked that the footage and they were nmjot able to see anything as the camera is just set to look at the entrance/exit. Whats more weird is that the kiddies section is next to the entrance and the way the camera is placed is there nmo reason that they couldnt have seen anything.
What makes me suspicious of the security as when I went back there about 2 minutes after the phone went missing he was in the same area I left the phone made some illiterate remark that I should call my phone and not even offered me a phone to call. He also looked very nervous. All I need is to check the footage so that I can see if this was a customer or as my suspicions the security.
