It was advertised on pamplhets at Pick n PAY hYPERMARKET IN Faerie GLEN that it would be hosting a best dressed eighties show and the best dressed male and female would each win R1000 shopping voucher, They even said that the winners will be announced at 12h30 and the competition would run from 8-10a.am. I got there all dressed in my eighties outfit and got many admiring glances from the customers. However the female judge for some reason after taking down my contct details gave me a dirty look and seem biased. PHOTOS WERE TAKEN . Even the announcers at the show only sang and spoke in Afrikaans. I even gave up a meeting that morning convinced I was a strong competitor, and was also told that by many. Anyway the judges got up and left before 12h30 and did not do any announcements. When i queried this at 13h15 with a manager by the name of Riaan, he said he will look into it. He went to hunt down the judges and then came up with three winning names all of which were family, the granny, the mother and the daughter. They did'nt announce any male winner as promised and did not even bother announcing the winner until I asked. They said they will phone the winners, PAMPLET SAID WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED.
