On 25/10/2013 I bought an evening gown at Truworths in North Park Mall for R599.00. It was the last one in my size on the shelf. When the transaction was done I saw there was no swing ticket on the dress and specifically asked if I will be able to return the dress if I change my mind or if it is not to the approval of my husband, The lady wrote on the slip "No swing ticket" and initialed it. She assured me that there will not be a problem if I need to return it. I decided not to wear it for the function it was meant for because suddenly it turned out to be quite a cold day. The next week I tried to return it to the Kolonnade and Soshanguve branches with no luck. The one office told me it was worn and the other refused to help without the ticket implying I used it and is now taking a chance. The outcome was that I have a dress I will never use, I'm paying for that dress and I am utterly disappointed in Truworths itself.
