Falsely accused of

On a family grocery shopping evening with my three year old daughter, my wife and myself... after paying for my purchase a sunglasses was left in the trolley unpaid due to my wifes hand bag that blocked the item that was kept aside on the child seat area in the trolley. upon exiting the store we were stopped and the glasses was removed by the security and then was taken to the manager saying that i intended on the item. which came to my attention as a surprise. i offered to go back and pay for it but refused payment. i just purchased a R1000 worth of groceries and mistakenly did not pay for 1 item. what annoyed me was the fact my wife was stranded outside the store with my 3 year old for around three hours, both of them were hungry and irratated. as for myself i was kept instore for four hours until the cops arrived, For a R80.00 glasses it costed me R700 that night. the store mangager could have handled it better but was not interested in what i had to say. as for the saps i recieved more help from them and i didnt have to spend the night in jail, the saps informed me that the security company gets a commission out of this, ALL that grief for their commission
