Shoprite's deliberate, habitual of customers

It is my understanding that businesses operating on the South African soil are bound by the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008. It is unfortunate to see that some businesses don't abide by those rules.

I stay close to a Shoprite store (120 End Street, Johannesburg). It is convenient for me to go there for shopping when I get home from work. Unfortunately, every time I buy something there, I never get the correct change without first fighting with the cashier or the supervisor. I know that 10c being held back can seem like an insignificant amount of money but on average about 1000 people pass through every till per day. That's R100 per till of illegal profits made from the customers. That is and unfair business practice.

Last night I was there and the same thing happened. That's when I thought that enough is enough and I will take this matter forward because the supervisors and the managers can't solve the issue on their own.
