I bought a plasma stand at the House&Home Vereeniging 30/11/2013, upon my purchase i asked the sales consultant (Mpho Mofokeng) to assemble the stand for me. She agreed and asked one of the men on the floor if this was possible by atleast the next friday. The man agreed, i paid for the stand and i left.
After three days the consultant called my mother telling her that the man cannot assemble the stand without being paid and told her she needs to pay R100. Now the issue here is not the R100 but the fact that these people agreed and promised me that they will assemble it. Now all of a sudden they want money for it? Did they not know this all along before they agreed. Surely as a qualified sales consultant one should know the ins and outs of that store.??
So we collected the stand (still not assembled) and asked for them to come and assemble at our house. Once again the sales consultant agreed with one of the men that he will come to the house and assemble it and i agreed on paying the R100.
On the 16/12/2013 i called the store spoke to Mpho and the man who was suppose to assemble the stand, they both agreed that it will be done that very same day. This NEVER HAPPENED!!!
