I would like to express my disappointment at the service I received today 17-12-13 at checkers hyper. I went down to purchase a coffee table only to be told they were sold out, and that they will only receive stock any time next year, the person that I spoke to assured me that they would phone another branch to see if they have any in stock, I didn't receive any call. In fact I had to ask a friend to check for me at another branch, is I had to do the running around myself. It's pathetic that towards the festive season checkers hypers are under stocked. Secondly I asked a lady at customer service if she could keep a coffee machine as it was the last one for me till friday to which she agreed, only to go back later in the day and find it back on the shelf, whatever happened to customer loyalty! What make me more disappointed is how I always defended checkers and only spoke of the good service I got when customers complained, now I have experienced first hand and I'm highly disgusted.
