I am very disappointed with the service/response from Pick n Pay after my bad experience when I discovered a live scorpion in the freshly packed mix salad (PNP BRAND). I brought it to the attention of the customer service which in turn replied that they need the bag to determine which supplier it came from. I provided them with everything and they even visited my place to investigate and saw that it was a live scorpion because I kept it in a glass jar as proof. after their visit the head office called to inform me that they will send a letter and compensate me for the mixed salad via post which to me was highly unacceptable but I thought let me see what they going to compensate me with but up to date nothing in the post or even a follow up call from the head office after almost 3 weeks of informing them.
I just feel that the manner in which they are handling this matter is not acceptable because what if that scorpion had to sting myself or one of my kids. I did research and found that the type of scorpion found is actually a very poisonous species. I am not impressed how PNP is handling this matter.
