Does Scorpion really have a sting?

On 22 July 2013 I was in an accident, my car rolled over because of a pothole. I tried claiming from my insurance company, Western National Assist and was quoted an amount of R17220.00. I had to query this amount as some of the items quoted were either not reflected on my Insurance Policy Schedule or were double the amount. One of the additional excesses quoted was explained to be as a result of a code C1 license I hold, which I queried. I was made to believe that I had to pay it because I was driving a code B type vehicle.

This let to me contacting my legal team, Scorpion because I failed to comprehend why Western National Assist had agreed to insure me in the first place if my licence was risky as they claimed. So, on 22 August 2013 I went to my "supposedly hero", Scorpion offices in Johannesburg to report the matter where I was assisted by Mr Bongani Ngidi who promised me that Scorpion would come back to me in three days. To date, more than a month later, I am still waiting in vain, yet paying loyally.

After a 10 year membership with Scorpion, I now wonder whether Scorpion really have a sting.
