Poor service delivery alterations department

I bought a suit from Edgars two weeks ago. A major reason why I bought from Edgars was that they offer free alterations to the pants and jacket. After purchasing the suit I went to Edgars in Menlyn for the alteration. They told me that because of the revamp they are not doing alterations, but what confuses me is that 2 weeks prior, with the revamp still happening I know of a suit that was altered. Then I checked the Edgars website which says Brooklyn does alterations. I tried calling 3 times before driving out. Not once did anyone answer. After driving all the way to Edgars in Brooklyn I was told they haven't done alterations in over 1 year! Yet the website says they do! Then I tried Edgars Centurion. There I was told they only do pants! Then I made an arrangement that the suit Jacket would be taken to Edgars Sandton. At Edgars Sandton I was told they don't do jackets either! Again even though my brother had a suit altered a week before. Now I have a jacket with sleeves that are too long and a wedding Saturday. Now I have to find a tailor that can alter the jacket in one day at my cost. Terrible after service from Edgars. Never again.
