I was given a pair of braces as a gift that was bought at THE PARTY SHOP but it had a unchristian motive on. I decided to visit the shop (without telling the person who gave it to me) to ask whether I could swop it for another colour/theme. The package was clearly still sealed and only the price tag has been removed -which is the practice when you give a gift. The spokesperson (an mature Muslim man) told me the package was opened whilst investigating at the price tag which was removed. I pointed out that in know way it was and it was still as cleverly neately packed as in the factory. It was very clear to the ordinary man in the street. Actualy the price tag split in half leaving the white bottom part of the tag clearly in place. He refused point blank. I then left the pakage there and left the shop whilst the man was giving his employee the instruction to put the F... thing in the bin. He didi not realize my wife was still standing there.
Interesting is that the lady who bought is one of there regular customers who make a living out of baking cakes and getting her supplies from this shop.
What worried me was that the man said NO before he even listened to me -"a 'no' attitude!
