On 3 November 2013, i decided to go into Checkers to enquire about a casual/contract position for my 19 year old daughter. I spoke to Selma Van Wyk a very nice and sincere lady who explained the process to me. The very next day i delivered my daughters Cv to her and was told a Human resource lady would be in contact with me a week later. The following week Wasiema requested my daughter to come and see her on 6 November 2013 for an interview. She was given forms to complete and was told the contract will take a week to be drawn up. she will get back to her within a weeks time. Since then my daughter and I have been in contact with Wasiema telephonically and face to face and every time we get the same story the contracts not ready yet or I will definately phone you tomorrow in order for her to sighn it. On two occasions I was told the contracts are there and she will call me the next day, no call. Last week Tuesday i contacted her and was told it is there again and she will call me, i decided to go into the shop only to be told by Wasiema there is nothing yet. If my daughter was not successful an Honest answer should have been given, but week in and out we have been to.
