I was unemployed for a couple of months.
I went to the police station to make an affidavit stating that I am currently unemployed. I took the affidavit to Edgars telling them that I wont be able to pay my account as i dont have any other source of income.
They kept on calling and calling me even though i had told them i am unemployed. When I finally got a job after 4months i informed Edgars that i just started working and i will paying My Account.
I paid R250 the first 2months as that was what i could afford as i had other debts, the next thing i start receiving smses stating that I have 9days to go before Edgars blacklists me, i ignored the massages as i knew i was paying my account.
Now when i try to apply for a loan they telling me that edgars has listed me as a slow payer.
Can someone please explain to me how did I get to being a slow payer if i was unemployed and i explained this to edgars and i have paid my arrears my account is now up to date.
I cannot even apply for a simple R500 loan.
i have other accounts and i sent them an affidavit they never stalked and harassed me as much as edgars has- Am thinking of closing my account.
i need answers ASAP
