I bought curtains (2 drops @ R299 a drop) from @home not a year ago... I washed it 11 March 2013 for the first time. It fell apart... it was as if the curtains lost its skin... I took photos for proof.
I took the curtains back immediately, and they said sorry they cannot help me - because it is over 6 months. So what they wanted to say is that their curtain's lifespan is only 6 months.
It is unacceptable for curtains to perish in not even a year's time. The quality is substandard, and I really expected @home to notice the problem, and that it is NOT normal for curtains to look like that in 11 months' time. Especially if I paid R600 for 2 drops, it is ridicules. I could have bought curtains from PEP and that would most probably look better after a year.
