Airitime subscription nightmare

I received an E-mail from RMCS confirming that my contract is cancelled i then called them back to confirm the email and continuously mentioned that i want to retain my old number which they confirmed it will not be a problem. 5 days later am at MTN trying to do a sim swap to my surprise they could not help me cause i have a contract with AUTO PAGE (who the is autopage). went there (autopage) the consultants tells me their hands are tied only RMCS can resolve this matter, she dials rmcs and talks to them in front of me and assures me rmcs promises to convert my sim within 24hrs and they apologies for the delay. 2 days later my sim still in contract, I went back to AUTOPAGE the same lady thenconfeses that they have had similar cases before and i should just give up on my number cause i will never get helped (am still shocked). can somebody please help me get my old number back, I have send out a lot of Cv's with that number and all my accounts are linked to it.
