Lack of customer service and bad attitude

I bought a blackberry Z10 from Edgars Johannesburg CBD on 25 November 2013 for R3500 cash. The phone does not want to access the internet and it has no network. As I am residing in Soweto I took it to the Maponya mall branch where the branch manger Camy blatantly told me that I have to take it back where I bought as he cant assist me in any way. I explained to him that when I bought the phone I was advised that I can take anywhere within the 7 days of purchase if I experience any problem with it. I am very frustrated with this matter EDCON head office also told me that even if I bought the phone in Cape Town I have to take it back there even if I am residing in Johannesburg.
