DO NOT BUY FROM KALAHARI - Specially the Gobii

My story is too long to post here so for info anyone can mail me at adrianfourty4-at-yahoo-dot-com.

The main thing is that I bought this Gobii as a gift for my fiance. The screen eventually started fading and the battery dies very quick unless you keep it on charge. 1st we get told its out of warranty (6months on site). Then after complaining I get told, "sorry, the Gobii has a year warranty. After sending it to the suppliers, they say there's nothing wrong with it and the reason it dies quick is cause of the brightness setting. OH REALLY? We have to turn the brightness up because of the screen that is FADING!

Kalahari cant be bothered and they send it back to me after upgrading the software (that has nothing to do with the HARDWARE ISSUES! After then trying to test it we buy 2 new ebooks (can only buy from them) to find that for 2 weeks we battle to load them onto the Gobii. Endless calls trying to sort it, they say the supplier of the books doesnt offer this anymore, yet they took my money that has still not been refunded 3weeks later.

Now for me to get a refund from them for this rubbish product that they PUNT AS THEIR BEST SELLER, I'm told I'll LOSE 50% of the price!?!?!?
