EDCON?..STILL CONNING

I got retrenched - after 30 years.
I continued paying Edcon for a year.

I called Edgars and informed them that i could not pay as i was retrenched.
They said do not worry, you are covered.

It was a policy i was not aware of.
Apparently it was offered to me by Edcon over the phone when it was introduced some time back.
I WAS NEVER GIVEN THE RULES.

So i put in a claim... got over 150 missed calls from a broken dialer at call centre.
Got another 159 missed calls from same broken dialer on house phone.
Do not forget the /- 100 actual calls... approx 3 per day over past 2 months...
...always... when are you paying...

I tried to explain to non english speakers the issue in question.

Filled application forms once a month... 3 times...
They always lost it... did not put it on system or... Busy processing...
I now received a letter from EDGARS stating that my RETRENCHMENT COVER HAS BEEN DENIED... was supposed to be submitted within 6 months.
I DID NOT KNOW THIS.
I waited for CCMA and settled out of court in May this year...
THIS RECENT LETTER WAS AFTER I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ISSUE ON HELLOPETER AND EDCON PROMISED A INTERVENTION... GO FIGURE... EDCON... STILL CONNING
