I saw on TV that Pick n Pay liquor were selling Johnnie Walker Black Label for R249. I needed a gift for a friends birthday so the next day i went to get one. I was immediately told that i was wrong, as they scanned the bottle and it was R359. So i was forced to pay that price assuming i was wrong. Then i got home and looked online. The promotion is on the Pick n Pay website stating the price is R249! How could i be denied that price? I know Pick n Pay has a policy with incorrect pricing. I can only assume their reason for denying me the promotion was to get out of having to go through with their policy and giving me double the deficit.
