No Product Knowledge At My Expense

On the 10th Nov 2013 I went to your Edgars store in (Festival Mall) I went to the cell phone department and specifically requested an affordable phone with whatsapp. I was given a Samsung chat333 by Elias reassuring me it had whatsapp. On arrival at home I struggled getting the application on the phone, so went back (3 days later) to ask them to change the phone to one that had the application. I was told by Palesa (cashier) That once one buys there's no returning it or exchanging it! Elias's manner towards me was rude and he refused to give me his name! they booked the phone in as OBF (out of box failure). I feel that I should have been sold a product that meets my requirements, the customer should not suffer for staff's lack of knowledge and incompetency, I should therefore be able to return the cell phone and pay for something that meets my requirements (which was made clear to your staff member). I look forward to you resolving this matter soon.
