Checkers & Checkers Hypers
So much for manners!!!

I bought stewing meat from Checkers. Nowhere on the packaging does it state that you can't defrost in the microwave, due to the silver film inside the barcode label.

I laid a complaint with customer care more than two weeks ago and got a call, at last, three days ago. Person on the line... "So you tell me, what do you want me to do about it... DO YOU WANT A NEW MICROWAVE? "

Really??? This after the person admitted that this is not the first time it happened..!! So then sort it out, as you've done previously.

Then to round it all off... I'm told that the barcode is there for purposes. So It's fine that Checkers don't lose money, but in the process damage my R2500 Russel Hobbs conventional oven and also have the audacity to be rude to me in the process... as if it is my fault!!!

And then of course the promise... the store manager will call me... GUESS WHAT - ITS 3 DAYS LATER AND I'M STILL WAITING!!

Absolutely PATHETIC!!
