Rotten smelling fresh pies

I had an incident where i bought a freshly baked pie straight from the oven from checkers hyper. One bite and the thing smelt worse than decomposed meat. Took it back to the store and up till today no response or anyone trying to apologise for what has happened.
thanks to yourl i had food poisoning for 3 days.
