A purchase of R7698.01 was made on my account, by who? I don't know. I was told to open a case @ the nearest police station and fill a dispute purchace declaration form in store of which I did. I was told I'll be contacted regarding the case soon. I never received any call, sms, email or letter even after sending emails I got no reply, so I went back to the foschini store to ask about the progress and was told to wait for a letter that will be sent to me. After waiting a month and 2weeks I received the letter stating that I'll be held liable for the debt because I diddn't respond to 3 sms's there were apparently sent to me of which I never received not even 1. And because apparently I did not notify them in writting within 30days of the date of the statement in question of which is not true because I did notify them within 15days of the statement date. Now I'm being told to redo the whole process again, what is goin to change the outcome this time? This is putting a bad reputation on my credit worthiness as the account is not being put on hold for the duration of the dispute/investigation and the amount just keeps escalating. I'm fed up and frustrated!
