Early today I went to Dischem Mondeor looking for Hooded character towels and beach character towels that were advertised for R59.95 each. We could only locate one hooded towel on the rack with an incorrect price, but the gentleman who assisted us confirmed the price for us, and then went to the back and checked for more. He came back with a plastic of towels but we could only find beach towels in the plastic, so we choose from the plastic and proceed to pay. when we got to the till, the price was incorrect, a lady by the name of Lerato came and told us that they have re-barcoded the towel because Minnie mouse and Barbie towels weren't in stock, but when we showed her that the advertisement isn't specific as per the characters meaning it is all assorted, she told us that "ok then we are out of stock our customers bought all the stock". Now my question is if they have stock cos we had the towels in our hands why where we not given at the advertised price, because we would have understood had we not been able to get stock from the floor from onset? And why did they have to re-barcode the towel before the time for the advertised special expire? I want those towels as per advert.
