I bought a geyser manufactured by Franke with a 5 year warranty and got it installed by a plumber. Four years later the geyser burst and I phoned their call centre because it is still under warranty. They responded well by sending their plumber to replace the geyser, only for the plumber to say the installation of the damaged geyser does not meet the standards and therefore the warranty does not apply and he left without replacing the damaged geyser. My frustration is that when we purchase the geyser from any hardware store nobody explains to us about the standards and that the warranty won't apply if you don't install the geyser a certain way that meets their standards.
I am one very unhappy customer and have decided not buy any products by Franke ever.
