Let me begin my story. I purchased a bedroom suite a dining room suite from Morkels three (3) years ago. The furniture was delivered to my premises and I kept the furniture wrapped up as no service was rendered in regards to assembling any of the furniture. Is that not a standard requirement? Guess not. I then moved to Gauteng where I unwrapped the furniture with great excitement. As I started to assemble the dining room suite, I discovered that the chairs were all there, the glass top of the main table was there (1, 8 meters long), but the pedestal that the glass top was suppose to rest on was not delivered to my house with the initial delivery.
I then made contact with Iranha, the branch manageress and tried every way possible to get the pedestal to my house in Gauteng. She had no idea what to do. So, I then heard of a friend of mine that was planning on travelling down the Natal for business. I asked that he collects the pedestal from Morkels and deliver it to my house. The arrangement was communicated with Iranha and se was greatfull as she had no idea of how the get the pedestal at my address.
