Inefficient and arrogant staff at Edgars

I had my dad pay my Edgars acc for August, it was the 7th of sept, i had not been recieving account statetments for a while (electronic or otherwise).my dad was asked to pay an amount of double my installment because my account was overdue.my account as reflected by my most recent reciept for the previous month stated that my account was up to date.when i queried it at the store the next day, i was assisted by a sandra govender who insisted that my account was overdue because according to her the books had closed on the 6th and since my dad was paying my installment on the 7th it was overdue, curious since my dad was paying his own account at the time as well and had no issue whatsoever. when i refused to accept her explanation she arrogently told me that unfortunately she could not help me and had i paid my account earlier i would not be in this situation, when i refused to accept being in arrears when i was not, she called head office and i spoke to an equally arrogent lady who said she also could not do anything except take my details and ensure that i recieve electronic statements going forward, over a month later and i still have not recieved another statement.
