I bought some items at Fruit and Veg City, Elardus Park today. When I approached the cashier, Gladys to pay for the goods, I greeted her. She ignored my greeting, did not acknowledge my presence to pay and continued to speak to a colleague about something of a personal nature. She then processed the sale and handed me my till slip and change, with an attitude as if I interrupted her day. I then asked her why she does not greet customers when she is greeted by customers. She informed me that she greeted me, which was an absolute lie. It is shocking that some businesses still expect to get loyal patrons with such poor levels of customer care. I guess customer care is not a priority at this store.
