Last week I visited the Pick n Pay store at Northgate mall and had literally only bought 7 items. I went to the express till and was not even greeted by the cashier. He had the worst attitude I have ever seen. I felt he was very as well, because the customer before me had all smiles and they even had a conversation in their own language. He did not even ask if I needed a packet for my items, I had to ask him for one. After paying for everything he just sat and stared at me so I asked him if I need to pack my own items, and he got extremely rude and spoke to me in a very ill-mannered way. My question to Pick n Pay management is: are your cashiers doing your customers a favor by being there? Also, since when do customers pack their own items. Whether I am purchasing 1 item or 100 items, I expect there to be someone packing my stuff because I am paying for it after all. The rudeness of your staff has disgusted me and I will never return to this store again. Also, you people need to check the sell by dates on your items because I have bought food that was spoiled before I had even opened it, on numerous occasions. But what upset me most was this rude guy.
