I have an account with Jet. I currently owe them about R2 600.00.I had a phone call in September from their call centre. I was told that my instalments are based on the initial amount approved which was R7500.00.I explained to the gentleman that I only owe R2600.00. Further, How can my instalment be calculated on what I do not owe Jet. This is ridiculous. He was rude and insisted that if I don't pay an instalment of R750.00, I will be registered on ITC as a slow payer. After debating with him and explaining that I decreased my credit limit to R2500.00, he still was rude. I spoke to the manager who was very polite. What I would like to know is how can instalments be calculated on what you don't owe. This is unacceptable to me. Furthermore, is this the manner in which loyal customers are treated? Very pathetic and disappointing.
