On Saturday October 5th, I visited Edgars at The Glen shopping centre in Oakdene Johannesburg.
After doing my shopping I walked around the store looking for a paypoint, I found that all paypoints were open but not fully operational, I finally got into a line and noticed that out of 7 or 8 tills, only 3 were open.
But here is a bigger problem, at those "open" tills there were three people serving one customer, and standing around like the store was closed where other staff member having a big fat chat as the line of customers grew.
I waited in that line for 20 mins, and in that 20 mins only three customers were helped.
After waiting in that line for 20 mins I decided I'm going to speak to the manager.
when he eventually came to see me, I told him of my experience and made him aware of this issue.
I offered to rectify the problem, but in the most incorrect manner, He wanted to push me to the front of a line of people who had possibly been waiting longer than I have.
In what world would that have been fair to me as well as the other customers?
Get that store in orde
