I roamed Somerset Mall to find a pair of black sandals for hours and finally found 2 pairs of exactly what I was looking for at Foschini. However, there was no assistant around to assist with the numbers. I waited around for a few minutes and when there was still no sign of anyone interested in assisting me, I signalled to the lady at the (manager's?) desk across from the shoes. I waved the shoes around, indicating that I needed assistance. She then waived to someone on the floor who walked over to her and they started chatting. I was standing, looking at them, and waiting - still no one even attempted to approach me to assist. I put down the shoes and walked out - to Truworths. Within 10 minutes, I was assisted in getting the right size, paying for it and I was out of the door. Needless to say that I will never bother entering Foschini again as they are clearly not interested in customers and doing business.
