I bought two pieces of snoek fish in the above store, the other piece was fine but the other had a funny off taste and I noticed the snoek piece was pink instead of white, I put it aside so I could show checkers. Middle of the night my stomach started cramping and running. The whole morning I had a running stomach. I called Checkers Wilrogate explaining the reason I m calling I was polite at that time not planning to persue the matter, I was transferred to a manager which I explained to her "got the shock of my life" out of everything I told her she said "OK" and she paused for a while I almost drop the phone thinking she was gonne and all of a sudden she said "I can not understand why the other piece was fine and the other was not" I said to this manager I will bring the fish in the evening and she said "bring it" Wow her take on this motivated me to persue this futher because she showed me Checkers has a little regard for life. My collegues were shocked to hear the way Checkers handle life threatening complaints. One of my collegues called the head office that's when I got an apology. I consulted a doctor which diagnosed with food poisoning and given a report. Unbelievable!!!
