DEFY REFUSING TO EXCHANGE CREDIT TWO TONED FRIDGE

I, MR. J. NAICKER PURCHASED A FRIDGE DEFY - 310L - MODEL - 2012 - PRICE R2949.00. I COMPLAINED TO SHIVEN (SALES CONSULTANT) AT HOUSE & HOME GATEWAY THAT THE FRIDGE WAS MAKING A LOUD NOISE. HE THEN LOGGED THE FAULT. AN INSPECTION WAS CONDUCTED ON 19/08/2013 AND A DIFFERENT TECHNICIAN (RAJEN) FITTED THE DOOR ON 22/08/2013. THE ABOVE WAS DISAPPOINTING AS A DIFFERENT COLOUR DOOR WAS FITTED. HE STATED HE WILL SPEAK TO HIS BOSS AS FACTORY WAS NOT MAKING THE RIGHT COLOUR DOOR ANYMORE.

UPON ORDERING THE SECOND DOOR WITHOUT INSPECTION BY HOOSEN FROM HOUSE & HOME ENSURING ME IT IS THE RIGHT COLOUR, BUT ON ARRIVAL OF REP THE DOOR WAS NOT THE ORIGINAL COLOUR. TO DATE (2 MONTHS NOW) NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT THE FRIDGE AND BOTH DEFY AND H&H ARE REFUSING TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY AND REPLACE THE FRIDGE AS THEY CAN NOT GET THE ORIGINAL COLOUR DOOR AND THE FRIDGE IS STILL UNDER GARUNTEE.

AS A DEDICATED PAYING CUSTOMER HOW CAN I ACCEPT A FRIDGE THAT IS TWO TONED AND STILL PAY FOR IT? WHEN IT IS NOT THE CUSTOMER FAULT DEFY CAN NOT MATCH THE COLOUR. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS PATHETIC AND NO QUALITY SERVICE DELIVERENCE WAS ACHIEVED.
