Neutrogena has really disappointed me.
I tried out their Grape fruit face scrub and suffered a bad allergic reaction.
The use of Neutrogena's Grape Fruit face scrub was the only deviant to my normal day to day routine. I had to seek medical treatment and the doctor concurred that the rash on my face was an allergic reaction. I thought that I might be an isolated case.
Out of curiosity, I googled 'Allergic reactions to Neutrogena Grape Fruit scrub/face wash'.
To my horror I found many complaints of woman who have suffered the same fate. Their reactions all the same and as mine; red swollen itchy bumps on face, sore lips and extremely irritated skin. Some of the complaints went back to 2011.Now, If you are a 'dermatologically recommended skin care product' - why in the world would you allow consumers to purchase a product in a skin care range that is tainted. I can't believe that my trusted skincare brand would allow me to purchase a product, having the knowledge, that it might cause an allergic reaction. The main reason many people buy this range is the slogan - 'dermatologically recommended'. Well I' for one would like to have a chat with their 'dermatologist's' on this issue.
