4/08/2013: I Purchase a plasma stand at Furniture City Fourways whcih was on special. Salesman was Victor. I received poor service from the get go as he gave me the wrong price, when I got to the paypoint the stand was at a higher price than he had given to me. An indication of lack of knowledge in his job. That should have been the perfect sign to not buy from the store. But I carried on with the sale.
6/08/2013: The plasmu stand was delivered to my place during the day. After work when I am busy appreciating and checking the stand out I see the first defect which was a chip that had been painted over to conceal. I was so annoyed with this andI perused it further to see more chips and defects and even at the back of the stand was a nail which was sticking out of the furniture!!!
7/08/2013: I called the store and spoke to Angy who advised that Victor was on leave as his wife was ill and advised me that she will log my complaint and that my stand would be replaced. She took my home address.
Until today 20/09/2013 i still have not received a replacement of the defected brand new stand I bought with my money at this store. Furniture City is running a bad business!!!
