I am extremely disappointed. I went to get medication from the self- medication kiosk yesterday and I explained to the pharmacist that I had lost my medical aid card and urgently needed e medication. I asked him if there was a way to assist me without a card as I know my medical aid number and have my Identity book and clicks club card with me. He said no there was no way to assist me without a card and told me to go ask the lady at the prescription counter if she knew of a way to assist me. I was irritated that he could not ask his colleague but was sending me to ask for assistance elsewhere. I asked to speak to a senior manager and he told me that they had left for the day and there was no one to assist me. He started to mock me when I asked what if I needed chronic medication which would be a life threatening position if I did not get medication and he said he would still not assist me.
This behavior is terrible. As I was leaving, he yelled good luck to me out loud mocking at me as if I was a joke. I then had to drive all the way to Greenside pharmacy who assisted me without my Discovery Health medical aid card.
I've been a clicks customer for over 11 years.
