I was notified by Truworths that had taken place on my account with them and they recommended I contact my other account institutions to advise them that someone has a fake copy of my ID. I called the Forchini group department on 10th Sept and spoke to Ricardo who checked and advised of 2 transactions. He then blocked the account and advised me to complete an affidavit and go to the nearest Forchini group store to fax all docs to the department. This was done on the same evening and it was confirmed that the fax was sent. I then contacted Forschini group again on Monday 16th Sept to find out the status and was advised that NO documents were received. Ricardo then advised he would contact the specific store to refax the details and someone would contact me. I called the Forchini group department AGAIN and had to leave my details for ricardo to contact me. Is this really your fastest process to deal with urgent issues as Truworths managed to identify the transactions themselves and rectify everything within 3 days, but Forschini can't even manage to locate faxed documents from one of their own branches or contact me within 2 weeks.
