I have received a track suit purchase from Edgars as a gift for my new born baby. I wanted to return this item as it was small and I wanted to exchange it for other baby items. I took the the track suit as it was purchased with the hanger and price tag intacked, the price of the item is R139.95. I went to Edgars Gateway and told them that I have received the item as a gift and did not have any receipt for it and wanted to take something else. I was told that because I don't have a receipt they can only refund me for R40. I don't think this is fare. How can u pay R139 for something but only get back R40. I have returned clothes in other stores without receipts and I didn't have any problems. I am thinking of closing my Edgars account as I think this is a rip off.
